Now that I’ve been in Beijing for over a week, I’ve been dreaming about traveling around the country. I’d love to go any and everywhere in China to see as much of the country as I can. However, the times are uncertain right now and it’s not as easy to travel around as I would like. But I hope to one day soon be able to travel more! Below are a list of the top locations that I want to visit while I’m in the country, in no particular order, except for the first one! 😂
Disney
As a Disney-obsessed adult, I unashamedly admit that Shanghai Disney and Hong Kong Disneyland are at the top of the places I want to visit. Experiencing these two parks will leave me so much closer to my dream of visiting every single Disney park around the world.
Guilin
Every time I see someone post pictures from Guilin, I know that it’s somewhere I have to go. The scenery here is amazing! And I most definitely would love to experience rafting down the Li River!
Suzhou
Nicknamed “The Venice of the East,” Suzhou is a town that was built with many canals through the town. I have never been to Venice, but I just love the idea of the canals there, and I would love to see Suzhou! How pretty are those trees hanging down over the canal?!
Harbin
Harbin, located in the northern part of China, is home to the world’s largest ice and snow festival. Every winter, the largest ice sculptures and buildings are constructed. Take a look at the past year’s sculptures online! Definitely on my list!
Sanya
While I’m not a person who likes to be on the beach for hours, I do love to visit the ocean. There’s just something so relaxing about listening to the waves crash on the shore. Sometimes known as “China’s Hawaii,” Sanya looks to be a beautiful resort destination! The landscapes of China are super diverse and this destination is proof of that!
Which of these destinations would you most want to visit?
