Why did you create a blog?
I’ve traveled quite a bit and I wish that I had all of my adventures documented. I’ve tried journaling on trips and it doesn’t last longer than the first or second day. I created this blog when I moved to China to teach English in 2022. While I’m sad to not have all of my past trips on this blog, I’m excited about all of my future adventures that will be stored on this site. This blog is a mix of my personal diaries of my travels and a way to help encourage and support others on their vacations.
Who took the photos on the blog?
Unless it is stated otherwise, all of the photos on this blog were taken by me, or friends/family if there’s a rare photo of me that appears. One of my favorite things to do when exploring a new location is to see the city through the lens of my camera. I’m always looking for fun and creative angles to photograph my adventures.
Why did you move to China in 2022?
I have always wanted to teach abroad. Mixing my passion for traveling with my personal life has always seemed like a great opportunity. After years of dreaming and researching options, I finally took the leap and accepted a job in China teaching first grade at a new school. While my ultimate dream location was anywhere in Europe, I was thrilled with the opportunity to go to Asia for the first time.
