I’ve always been jealous of the people I see online that have sold everything they own and have traveled the world for years. While I dream of the day when I can do that, that’s not my life right now. Here’s my story.
My name is Sarah and I’m a 30-something teacher from Virginia, currently living in Florida. I was fortunate to grow up in a family that valued traveling and because of this, I was able to see a lot of the United States as a child. To date, I’ve visited 41 of the 50 states. Most of those were seen from the back of the van on roadtrips around the country.
My international travel experience began when I was a junior in high school and had the opportunity to travel to Paris, France with the high school’s French Club. Ever since then, I’ve had a serious case of wanderlust and have wanted to go, go, go! Anywhere and everywhere is on my list!
Whether by plane or boat, I want to see the world. All of the world. My major bucket list dream has always been to travel to Australia. One day, I hope that dream will come true. Because I work full time, I’m not a full time traveler, so my travels are slower than other travel bloggers that you may see online. But my hope is that somewhere along the way, I’ll inspire someone to love the experience travel provides and the teacher in me hopes that you’ll learn more about this incredible world we live in!
I’m definitely a homebody by nature and by no means am I a “thrill seeker,” but traveling, seeing new places and exploring new cultures really creates a thrill that is unmatched.
Thank you for joining me in my little corner of the web. I hope that you enjoy traveling virtually with me!
